Objectives and Contents
|
This course focuses on fundamental planning tasks in operational production planning. Students will learn how to model typical planning problems and solve them using appropriate methods. Both exact algorithms and heuristic approaches are introduced and applied in practical exercises. A special emphasis is placed on scheduling, which is a key to efficient production management and has a wide range of real-world applications.
