This course provides essential skills for scientific work with a strong focus on mathematical and methodological foundations. Students receive a concise overview of key concepts from analysis (differentiation, integration, differential equations), optimization (linear programming), and statistics (distribution functions, probability measures), along with their applications. They learn how to research academic literature, cite correctly, and write scientific texts using LaTeX. The course also introduces tools for academic work.
